Since 1983, Professor Zhao Guo Xin, the cerebral disease and vascular vessels expert, established a coronary heart disease research group with his peers. The aim was develop a Chinese curative drug for coronary heart disease. Until 1990, a peculiar Chinese medicine (Shan Hai Dan) for CHD was invented. Over a hundred various media in China reported this encouraging findings. In 1991, the invention of this new drug has been broadcasted over hundred times with 350 thousand words. Xin Wah News Agency alleged this was the breakthrough of treatment to CHD with the world-class standard. It made millions of patient recovery and regain the health of their heart.
Professor Zhao won the award of “The 20 th Century Award for Achievement” which was given by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England.

 


Prof. Zhao was included in the Book of Famous People of the University of Cambridge.


Professor Zhao won the award of "Eureka Award, Prix International" in November 1993.
